Mistakes, and the pulling out of hauiirs thereof.

General NewsDecided to try and upload some more pics today after a night at bars and a concert here in Bucharest. Had some nice pictures of me and the people I was with, among other things like interesting architecture and funny moments.

So I plug in the camera to the computer here at the hostel and nothing happens for a second. Then everything goes aqua.

Im irritated for a few seconds here, nothing is working so I manually unplug it and then try again.

I access the files and what do I see?

about 15 piucs left.

WHAT?

Frantically, with desperation I unplug it and just try the camera, which when it turns on flashes me with Battery Empty. Five minutes later here I am with a bare handful of random shit left, about 3oo photos gone, including the most recent ones. Everything from my last few days in Austria, the castles and hills of Czech Republic, Olomouc, Prague... All gone.

This is partly my fault, since I know I should uploading more, but I still have the urge to stomp the camera under my boots. The rest will be uploaded today and then deleted. Hopefully I can make up for this

What a bummer, Brent, to have lost so many precious photos!  That is so frustrating for you to take the photos, to look forward to sharing them, and then to lose them, knowing you can't get them back.   Ah, technology..  Thank you for your updates - we love hearing about your adventures and visiting Europe through your writings and yes, pictures!  Keep up the great work, we think of you all the time, and stay safe.
