Yohoho and aftermath.
So, Christmas has come and gone. Winter still reigns supreme here in Saint Paul, though. We got dumped on three days in a row, and I spent much of Christmas morning shoveling sidewalks rather than opening presents.Speaking of which, apparently pending four months in Europe makes it hard for relatives to gauge your wants.
I got two books from my parents, some warm flannel underwear, a sweater vest, and...
Over two hundred dollars from various aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
It'll be put to good use. I'll be doing a little bit of Christmas shopping for myself once the working week rolls around. Some books are on the list, along with some D&D stuff (A miniature for my 1st E Ranger and the module Vaults of the Drow. Yea I'm old-school) and a copy of the original Fallout. I won't be taking my desktop with me to college a year from now, so I figure why not get some classic games that can run on any old laptop? One final present to myself, however, in the form of tickets to Feburary's Con of the North. I've heard alot about gaming conventions in general and this one in particular, I've been to some gun shows out west but this will be my first foray into a real gaming con. Should be fun.
On a completely unrelated note, most of that money is probably going to the bank.
